DESCRIPTION:Poets Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, Larry Robinson, Kim Rosen, Diane Frank, Sherrie Lovler, Doug Von Koss, Harmony Harrison, Hari Meyers and Pauline Elise Reif will join spiritual director and Hebrew scholar Lizzie Berne DeGear and musicians Catherine Braslavsky, Shira Kammen and Judith Tripp. Together we will offer a memorial of poetry and music. A recording will be sent out later in the day if you cannot make it to the live broadcast.\nThis event, hosted by Mythica, is in part a response to a heartbreaking moment from mid January, 2022: the Holocaust Memorial in Santa Rosa was vandalized. Immediately, the words of Leonard Bernstein began to ring in the mind of event organizer Kayleen Asbo, “This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.” And, she thought, “to share poetry as well.”\nFree. Donations will go to the Holocaust Memorial.\n
