Loving the self is an essential practice that allows us to engage with the rest of the world with more clarity, more generosity, more trust. But let’s face it—it’s not easy. That’s why it’s a practice.\nJoin poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer for an afternoon of reading and writing poems about meeting the self with compassion and frankness. How might writing help us open our arms to ourselves the way we might for a child or lover or the planet? We’ll use metaphor and story to help us along—a chance to play. All levels of writing experience welcome.
