SUMMARY:Book Launch –  Meditations on Life – a Tuesday Circle Anthology
DESCRIPTION:It’s a thrill that three of my students, Mary Simmerling, Sue Mapel and Denise Jessup, joined creative forces to create an anthology of poems written by the students in my Tuesday Circle, a group that has gathered every other Tuesday for a year and a half. Meditations on Life gathers poems of grief, belonging, and renewal. The collection is organized into four sections — Gathering and Belonging; Loss, Remembering and Grief; Transformation and Emergence; and Praise, Presence, and Spiritual Inquiry — and invites readers into a community of writers reflecting on what it means to live with sorrow, joy, and wonder. The launch will feature selected readings by contributors.
