Longing and Belonging: Explorations in Dreams and Poems
March 11 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm MDT$240
Dreamwork and poetry both create a bridge between the seen and unseen, the outer landscape and our inner wilderness. Both offer entry into the question of what is missing from our lives. When we enter into that longing we get a glimpse of the majesty we are meant to become. We open to the sacred dimension of our lives, to magic and wonder. As writer Marianne Williamson said, “It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.” In this workshop we will explore the gifts that our dreams illuminate and write poems that explore our longing to be recognized as our authentic selves and our longing to belong to something greater, something noble, something sacred. No previous experience with dream work or poetry necessary. Led by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and Corinne Platt. $240. To register, call Kris, 970-728-3886.
