Two Poems in Vox Populi

by rosemerryt@gmail.com

TWO POEMS:

A poem on silence–what if we really listened to each other, America? And another on the sweet, primal sounds people make … I am so grateful to the wonderful Vox Populi for sharing these two poems and to Michael Simms for pairing them so beautifully–I love how the pairing becomes an homage to listening … and to both instinctual and intentional ways of using our voices. I love, by the way, Michael includes poetry and essays on current events, plus sometimes fiction, short film, and more. Both poems shared here will be in my new book The Wonderment coming out in September.
