Courageous Conversation: Holding Space for the Israel-Palestinian Relationship
Global Connections, Wednesday, Nov. 1, 11 a.m. Eastern/3 p.m. GMT
It’s undeniably important to create courageous spaces in times of war or in crises. The power of a diverse, inclusive community together holding and expressing heartache, grief, anger, and healing is a need in these times. The Euphrates Institute invites you to join in a circle of trust in conversation with Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders.
Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer will be opening a conversation between these peacebuilders with a poem. Euphrates Institute founder Janessa Wilder says this of the conversation that will follow: “It is a courageous act for these two individuals, (both dear friends of mine but they don’t know each other), to be willing to connect at a time like this, when it is incredibly dangerous and sensitive to do so. My Palestinian friend knows of several people who have been attacked just for talking to Israelis. I’m so grateful they are willing to come together and share their voices and their values and their pain and their hope with our global community of peacebuilders that are part of Euphrates Institute.”
Please share this invitation with your friends and join us Wednesday, November 1st, at 11am ET / 3pm GMT. Click here to register and Euphrates Institute will send you a link.
