Falling in Love with the Broken World: A Poetry Playshop
How do we turn toward what hurts and stay open to beauty, wonder, love? Poems can be remarkable vessels, inviting us to embody paradox and accommodate the full spectrum of feeling all at once.
In this playful 3-hour program, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer will lead our reading and discussion of poems that model how writing might expand our ideas of what is possible. Then we’ll write our own poems and talk about creative process.
Bring your skeptical self, along with your willingness to be astonished. We’ll play.
All varieties of writing experience welcome.
