The Art of Showing Up in Difficult, Hectic, Broken Times: A wide-eyed, open-hearted poetic experience

Sometimes, in our most challenging moments, we find an impossible invitation—the invitation to praise. To wonder. To show up whole. How can this be? How, when we are undone by heartache, can we at the same time celebrate some aspect of life? How, when the news is devastating, can we at the same time find joy in our personal interactions? How, in a hectic time, can we stay grounded? And how—is it possible? —can we celebrate the challenges themselves?  How do we turn toward what hurts or frustrates us and stay open to beauty, wonder, love? Poems can be remarkable vessels, inviting us to embody paradox, opening to the full spectrum of feeling all at once—and this embodied experience can translate directly into the ways we meet our daily lives. In this playful, intimate evening program, Rosemerry will share poems and stories that invite us to say yes to our whole hearts and live fully—even when, especially when, it’s difficult.
