Warblers, Howlers, & Minstrels on Trickster Ridge: A Colorado Writers Festival
This four-day festival in the Grand Valley of Western Colorado offers stunning evening performances, writing workshops, round-table discussions on place, poetry and storytelling, stimulating conversations, place-based reflections, heartfelt connections, spoken word, song, dance, movement as medicine, percussion, astrology and more.
Rosemerry will be performing on Thursday night, and teaching on Saturday morning in a workshop titled, “Falling in Love with the Broken World.”
From the website: “Featuring beloved Placerville poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, adventure writer Craig Childs, co-editor of Native Voices, CMarie Fuhrman, Western Slope poet laureate, Wendy Videlock, award winning poets Uche Ogbuji, Kierstin Bridger, SETH, Rick Kempa, Jennifer Hancock, assorted regional musical guests, founder of Talking Gourds Art Goodtimes, Lithic Bookstore’s Danny Rosen and many more.
Events will take place at Ordinary Fellow Winery, The Blue Pig Gallery, and TBA (all in Palisade) with Saturday evening performances taking place at Lithic Bookstore and Gallery in Fruita.
