Curiouser and Curiouser: A poetic invitation to write into wonderment
One of the biggest gifts of poetry? It steeps us in wonder, invites our curiosity and nourishes us with a willingness to be astonished by the everyday whirled. For four hours, we’ll read and discuss poems, meet the playground of the blank page, write poems and explore how a poetry practice might bring us into a more present, more connected, more wonder-full way to engage with our lives. Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer will offer writing prompts to help reframe the self, to unlearn, and to fathom our connection with others, our environment, and the divine. There will always be a chance to share, but only to the extent that it feels safe. All levels of poetry experience welcome. Only prerequisite: your willingness to feel, listen, play, pick up a pen and see what happens next.
Limited to 19.
