Love Relentlessly: A 3-week poetry exploration with Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer
One of the great gifts of poetry is how reading, writing and conversing about poems helps us to see the same world in a new way. Even in the most difficult times, poems invite us to fall in love with the world that is here—this world with all its trouble and triumph, with all its heartache and humor, with fear and beauty.
In this three-week program with Rosemerrry Wahtola Trommer, we’ll explore different ways to see. We’ll change the lens, shift our perspective, and use our imaginations to see both what is present and what else is possible. Wonder will be our guide. Play will be our practice. Self-compassion will be our edge. And learning and unlearning how we love the world and each other will be the big invitation.
Sharing in small groups is always optional—it will also be possible to stay in the large group to talk about process. No previous writing experience or love for poetry necessary. All are welcome.
